There are different types of medical assessment carried out by the NICS’ Occupational Health Service. Data included in the table below is correct at 7 February 2025
| Pre-employment | 32 members of staff are awaiting assessment. 14 of these have been allocated an appointment within the next 2 weeks. |
| Fitness for work | 122 members of staff are awaiting assessment. 57 of these have been allocated an appointment within the next 2 weeks. 2 members of staff cancelled a previous appointment that had been scheduled and are awaiting a new appointment to be allocated. |
| Injury Awards & Pension referrals | 53 members of staff are awaiting assessment. An appointment is not required for this type of referral. |
| Health Surveillance | 582 members of staff are awaiting assessment. 121 of these have been allocated an appointment within the next 2 weeks. 42 members of staff cancelled a previous appointment that had been scheduled and are awaiting a new appointment to be allocated. |
