Answer

There are currently no Medical Officer vacancies. Over 2024, following a successful recruitment exercise, Occupational Health Service (OHS) recruited 3.4 full time equivalent (FTE) Medical Officers. Offers of employment have been extended to a further two Medical Officers who are expected to commence employment in the next 12 months.

There are currently five Nursing vacancies. The recruitment competition for Nurses in May 2024 failed to yield any successful candidates. Work on a new recruitment competition to launch in Spring 2025 is underway to recruit three Occupational Health Nurses and two Trainee Occupational Health Nurses.

There is currently one Occupational Health Technician vacancy, which OHS plans to fill in Autumn 2025.
