To ask the Minister of Education to outline the support provided by his Department to pre-school and nursery school settings with Children Looked After on their enrolment.

My department does not currently provide additional supports to pre-school and nursery school settings with Children Looked After.

Interventions have been developed and piloted for children looked after as part of the Early Intervention Transformation Programme, however the initial focus has been on primary-age children. Any expansion into early years settings will be contingent upon the availability of financial resources.
