Answer
As a key stakeholder group and recognising the importance of parents in the RAISE Programme, my officials engaged Parenting Focus to capture the views of parents across RAISE localities. Locality Co-Ordinators in each of the 18 RAISE localities received local reports from Parenting Focus on feedback received from parents in their area through focus groups and a survey.
The input gathered from parents through this process was shared with other key stakeholders and used by the Locality Reference Groups, in each of the RAISE localities, to help inform the identification and prioritisation of needs and the development of Strategic Area Plans.
Each RAISE Strategic Area Plan includes a section reflecting the views of parents from that locality.
A composite report capturing the views of parents across all localities has been published on the DE website.
