Answer
The business case for the works to repair the storm damaged modular unit at St Francis’ Primary School has been approved and the project is moving to construction tender. The tender is due to issue in November 2025.
Regrettably, progress was somewhat delayed due to the unprecedented level of Special Educational Needs placements to be delivered over the summer period. However, relevant approvals are now in place and works are currently programmed to commence on site in early 2026.
Officials from my Department and the Education Authority are continuing to keep the school updated.
