Answer
The current profiled spend across the SEN Capital Investment Programme for 2025/26 is as detailed below, you will note that there is already a £5m pressure on this £70m:
£52m on over 400 minor works schemes in special schools and to provide additional specialist provision classes and pupil specific works in mainstream schools;
£17.3m across the existing 10 school enhancement projects in special schools;
£2.3m on the five projects for new build special schools;
£3.4m in furniture and equipment.
