To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 26753-22-27, to detail: (i) how many specialist settings the planned 63 staff within the Education Authority's Specialist Settings Support Team currently support; (ii) how many they will be required support from September 2025.

The Education Authority (EA) has advised that:
The EA's Specialist Settings Support Team (SSST) currently support 343 Specialist Provision Classes which have been set up since 2021.
The EA’s SSST will be required to support 710 Specialist Provision Classes (585 legacy classes and approximately 125 new classes) with the planned 63 staff currently being recruited.
