Answer
The allocation of teaching allowance (previously known as management points) is a decision for each school within its own management structure.
The Board of Governors of an individual school is responsible for determining a management structure appropriate to the needs and circumstances of the school.
In determining the management structure for posts of responsibility the Governors will also determine the level of teaching allowance (if appropriate).
