Answer
I have stated that every grant-aided pre-school, nursery and primary school across Northern Ireland will receive funding for outdoor play equipment. The level of funding received will be dependent on pupil numbers and details of the scheme will be provided to schools and settings over coming weeks.
As our special schools provide education to children and young people of pre-school and primary age, they will also avail of an allocation within this project.
In addition, under the overall Curriculum-led Capital Programme, all special schools will receive an allocation of desktop computers to replace those which have reached their end of life to ensure that students have access to secure, modern technology.
